NBC-TV Anti-Polish Bigot Seth Meyers Mocked Polish Hero Pilot who saved Hundreds of Lives (Note: And currently Seth is bashing American Patriot Donald Trump. How sad )
On November 5, Saturday Night Live’s Seth Meyers made two degrading “Polish jokes” about the hero Polish pilot who recently made a miraculous landing at Warsaw and saved hundreds of lives. The Polish pilot has been nicknamed a “Polish Sully” for his difficult landing of his plane since it had malfunctioning landing gears. Chelsea “Sully” Sullenberger is the name of the hero American pilot who a couple years ago made a miraculous landing on the Hudson River. This story of the “Polish Sully” was reported widely in fair minded media.
Evidently, this positive reporting of a Polish person got the attention of NBC-TV’s Seth Meyers and he decided to make two “Polish joke” slurs against the Polish pilot and Polish people in general.

SETH MEYERS: "A pilot from Poland is being called the 'Polish Sully' after he safely landed a jetliner in Warsaw that had a malfunctioning landing gear; although 'Polish Sully' sounds suspiciously like a pilot who may have just forgotten that his plane had landing gear. And not to get overly technical, but I believe a 'Polish Sully' is when you land a boat at an airport. Again, not to get technical."

This is not the first time Seth Meyers has made a degrading “Polish joke” slur against Polish people. In December 2010 Meyers reacted negatively to a book that reported that Christopher Columbus’ father was Polish and said:

SETH MEYERS: "A new book called Columbus: The Untold Story claims that Christopher Columbus was not Italian, but actually the son of an exiled Polish king. Well, that would certainly explain why he missed India by 15,000 miles."

Many Polish Americans feel that the bigoted stereotype in the US that Polish people have inferior intelligence is media driven especially by NBC-TV. These recent anti-Polish slurs by late night NBC-TV prove it. Prior to Seth Meyers taking over the “Weekend Update” segment of Saturday Night Live, his predecessor Amy Poehler made similar anti-Polish slurs. The Polish American Guardian Society has protested NBC-TV’s anti-Polish joke/slurs for decades and has claimed Late Night NBC-TV is responsible for much of the negative stereotyping of Polish people in America.

The recent insult jokes by Seth Meyers have angered Polish Americans and shortly after the November 5 Saturday Night Live show, a Polish American called into the national radio show “Red Eye Radio” (with Mark Germain filling in) and said Seth Meyers is pushing hatred against Polish people when Meyers pushes Nazi subhuman intelligence jokes about Polish people. The caller said so called “Polish jokes” came from Nazi propaganda. He said its Anti-Polish Bigotry for Nazi jokes about Polish people to be pushed by “Saturday Night Live” and a certain element of NBC-TV.

Polish Americans are advised to contact the new CEO of NBC Universal to let him know how you feel about this and ask why Seth Meyers is allowed to push Nazi stereotypes about Polish people.

On November 5, 2011 Saturday Night Live's Seth Meyers turned a positive news report of the heroic nature of a Polish pilot who saved hundreds of lives......into anti-Polish hate propaganda that maligned the Polish pilot and Polish people.
Here is a reaction to some on the internet to Anti-Polish Bigot Seth Meyers' anti-Polish slurs:

Eyebrow raising joke on SNL

One of the stars on NBC's "Saturday Night Live", Seth Meyers, delivered a joke during the live taping of the show about Polish pilot Tadeusz Wrona and created a stir with the Kosciuszko Foundation.
Wrona is the pilot who successfully emergency landed a Boeing 767 when the wheels refused to lower on their own. Wrona was dubbed as the Polish Captain Sullenburger" as he helped save the lives of 230 people on board.

Meyers said during a skit, I believe a 'Polish Sully' is when you land a boat at an airport."
This led the Kosciuszko Foundation president and executive director, Alex Storozynski, to write a letter to the chief executive officer at NBC Universal. In the letter Storozynski chastised the Meyers joke with strong sentiment.
Really? Really, Seth? Prejudice is funny? You are guilty of the worst crime for a comedian - you're not funny. And, you're a bigot, wrote Storozynski.

Storozynski added by calling Wrona a hero in the letter and commended Polish military pilots saying that they, ?were the most effective pilots in the Battle of Britain, helping to save London, shooting down German Luftwaffe planes at a higher rate than English pilots."
After mocking the Polish heritage, Storozynski expects Meyers to apologize saying I will boycott SNL and urge my friends to do so until Meyers apologizes.

Dear Mr. Burke:

Polish Pilot Tadeusz Wrona is a hero who saved the lives of 230 passengers with a flawless emergency landing after the wheels on his Boeing 767 failed to lower. Wrona was dubbed "the Polish Captain Sullenburger," but Seth Meyers of Saturday Night Live showed his bigotry with an ethnic slur saying, "I believe a 'Polish Sully' is when you land a boat at an airport."
Really? Really, Seth? Prejudice is funny? You are guilty of the worst crime for a comedian - you're not funny. And, you're a bigot.
The Polish Fighter Squadron in the RAF were the most effective pilots in the Battle of Britain, helping to save London, shooting down German Luftwaffe planes at a higher rate than English pilots. And Polish pilot Francis Stanely "Gabby" Gabreski was the top fighter ace in the United States Air Force during World War II.

Wrona, Gabreski and other Polish bomber pilots were heroes. The only thing Meyers ever "bombed" was when he hosted the White House Correspondents dinner, and he bombs each week as the unfunny host of the SNL news.
I will boycott SNL and urge my friends to do so until Meyers apologizes.

Its disgusting Seth Meyers would attack Polish people with subhuman intelligence jokes that originated from Nazi propaganda. But its no surprise this is coming from NBC-TV since this anti-Polish hate network has been the epicenter of anti-Polish slurs for over 4 decades. NBC-TV is the network that introduced Nazi subhuman intelligence jokes about Polish people into the US in the 1960's and RENAMED them as "Polish jokes". NBC-TV, starting with its "Laugh-In" show, the old "Tonight Show", and many other of its shows have portrayed Polish people as having inferior intelligence. It was very similar to how the Nazis portrayed Polish people. Anti-Polish Bigot Seth Meyers evidently was hired by NBC-TV to bash Polish people with his anti-Polish slurs. Seth Meyers also made an anti-Polish slur last December as well.
